The wild bunny hopped in her burrow making sure that the neiborhood dogs wouldn't fing or catch her. She lied down and blocked the sunlight and went into a light sleep.
Normal sized german shepherd dog padded along the city walkway. The dog was a stray - no human owner what-so-ever and she had planned to stick that way for quite a while. Tail swinged side by side on each step. It was a sunny day; no clouds in the sky. Oh, but how Galyne hated the hot sun. Deciding to look for a shaded area, she found herself within the forest near the city. Many rabbits and [c]
[c] Many rabbits and squirrels were found here - but she had no use for them. Not a hunting dog; more of a friendly one. She never killed a living thing unless forced for survival. If she wanted to, she could very well get an owner. Either way, she was currently a scavenger, digging through the dumps as the police kept an eye on her, just in case "something violent happens with the dog." How pathetic.
May looked under out from under the tree she had dug her burrow and she saw a large german sheapard and just kept quiet. She watched the german shepard secretly but then she made a sound in the leaves.
Galyne's ears perked up, head turning directly where the sound had come from. Seeing a burrow, she just rolled her eyes and continued her trail. The rabbits in the forest were probably more annoying then the squirrels-- okay, maybe not. Squirrels had the most annoying way of saying "Hello" and they stored their nuts, and those left over? They threw 'em at the dog. Rabbits were friendlier.
May sighed in relief. She saw the dog walk on and she hopped out of her hole without thinking. She went and started digging for a nut to get the dog's attention. Then she found her nut and started to munch on it.
Galyne stopped and paused for a few moments. 'Does that rabbit WANT me to notice it?' she thought, almost saying it aloud. Rabbits wouldn't be able to speak DOG. At least, that's what she had thought. Birds make noisy chirping sounds, but she could never understand a word they were saying. Then again- they weren't even MAMMALS. Rabbits were. Dogs were. Even a whale was (yet she had never thought [c]
[c] Even a whale was (yet she had never thought of speaking to a WHALE). Turning her head, she almost got annoyed by the crunching sound. "Didn't think rabbits ate nuts." she said, not to make it scared or offended, but just her way of saying 'Hello'
May looked at the dog and she looked verry shocked. The dog actually said hello. She thought over this carefully. Why would the dog stop and say hi? She always thought they were born to mean."Hi" she said hesitately. (is that a word?xD)
Galyne was shocked as well. The rabbit could understand the words coming from her muzzle. "Didn't think rabbits could understand DOGS, too. Then again.. I understand you, do I?" she laughed slightly. But she thought for a slight moment. Why was she talking to a rabbit? Something smaller and cuter and more playful then a loyal and obedient house-pet dog? Galyne doesn't refer herself to a [c]
[c] Galyne doesn't refer herself to a "house-pet dog" but she just went ahead and called herself that. Wondering if it was hunting season or not, she decided to warn the rabbit. "Hey - I don't know if it's hunting season or whatever, but it MAY. It's best you hide before it's too late."
May silenty hopped in her burrow and watched the birds fly and her "friend" walk off. She lied there gracefully knowin that not all animals anr'nt out to get the adorable bunnies. (so short!)
I got writer's block after Misty had posted. These logs were on MSN, which explains the short posts. XD Also, this roleplay will continue, possibly. <3
