Locked. Stickied. Smileys Removed.
Every single website, forums, you name it has rules. Of some sort. They may claim there aren't any - but one which the owner of the website may hide is that they have power over everything and that you may not insult or argue with them. See? So if an admin from another site which has "no rules" is reading this, you do have rules and I just now stated one.
'Course Dumb Dog has rules. And they're not like that (well, those are included and stuff, but--). We have a few main rules, a few not-so-main rules, and a few staff rules, too. Each will be organized so you don't go, "Is this for guests or staff?"

GUEST / REGISTERED MEMBERS
- 1. Guests must join or register to post on this website.
- 2. Spamming and advertisements are also not allowed. The Other section is NOT for "Hey-I'm-Bored" topics. Spamming, on this site, is not double posting; BUT, it's when you put the same word, continue to post useless replies, or just make over-dramatic stuff. We respect your opinions, of course - but being over dramatic will make your post SPAM-ALERT.
- 3. Links to your forums, deviantART, LiveJournal, etc... They should either go to Other (Creations) or in your signature.
- 4. Do not ask to be staff - when we hire moderators (we NEVER hire any admins) we look at how much karma you have, when you joined and how many posts you have posted, and see if you're active. The forums may go inactive at some points but usually when that happens, blame Lori (the admin).
- 5. Do not EVER post personal information.
- 6. This site is not a roleplaying website (yet it allows roleplays) - it's mainly just for the productions - Dumb Dog created by Vasiliskos and Lori. To be an official member of the productions you have to ask Vasiliskos or Lori! The forums are for people who want to check out our projects, videos, and stuff like that. Official members DO NOT get moderator access, for your information.
OFFICIAL MEMBER RULES
- 1. We have certain categories which are not allowed. Violence is allowed, but keep it to a minimum. Categories that are NOT allowed: sex & nude, and racism. That's pretty much it - but if you have a question on what isn't allowed, feel free to ask!
- 2. There are only TWO ranks for official members: a.) owner / creator ~ b.) official member.
- 3. Official members do NOT get moderator or admin access. They stay as a registered member but have a "Official Member" headline and what-not.
STAFF RULES
- 1. Yes, we have staff rules for the forums! We want all guests to be comfortable. Please do not say anything rude, racist, or immature. No nude or whatever.
- 2. We have a shoutbox. (ty captain obvious!) Rule number one goes along with the shoutbox as well.
- 3. Do NOT ban anyone without an admin's permission! Period!
- 4. You must follow all the rules above (including official members, and guest rules). The admin has MORE power than you do. If you act selfish because you have power and stuff, there's a most likely chance you'll LOOSE that power. :]
